#cherryaudio #CA2600 #review #demo A look at Cherry Audio's CA2600 vs the Behringer hardware version. A demo and review. Does it sound like a generic synth engine.. or does it have the 2600 sound. If you're looking at buying a new synth try this link for Perfect Circuit - I might get a bung ;) 🤍🤍pjtra.com/t/SENKTExLTUtDSEpJR0ZGQ0hJTUZHTA For some more in depth tutorials specifically on the 2600 and loads more on others :)... ► Patreon: 🤍patreon.com/starskycarr ►ClubbingTV From the Studio: 🤍🤍youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYIYEC4M53KQs4FeYpCY51sHxoK2l2Z0O Other places you’ll find me: ► Instagram: 🤍🤍instagram.com/starskycarr ► Facebook: 🤍🤍facebook.com/starskycarr ► Twitter: 🤍🤍twitter.com/starskycarr ► Bandcamp 🤍starskycarr.bandcamp.com/releases 0:00 intro 5:30 let the tests begin 7:27 filter 11:08 reverb 11:57 frequency modulation 15:10 vs Arturia 16:18 ring mod 17:03 audio input and envelope follower 17:39 final thoughts
JMJ himself rates the Arturia 2600.. After watching this a Blue Marvin popped up S/H for a ridiculous low price .. and ..what a beautiful synth it is .. I like CA's work..and I think you captured what most feel..so well
The Blue Marvin now pride of place in my studio .again .. thanks to you in part
Great job and great video. Lots of effort here. I appreciate it. I'd say most emulations are 98%. For the price. No brainer.
Well I prefer the software. Mental!
Did you remember ? hahaha LEGEND
The body, and low end seems fuller on the hardware version in many of the samples here. But for the price it sounds much closer than the difference in price!
I used the original for some time. Couldn't afford the real thing. So hence the CA2600.
I find it funny that it is cheaper to buy the CA2600 than the cables needed (and not provided when you buy it) to patch the B2600. That being said I bought the B2600 and I like pushing faders and patching cables way more than clicking on a software.
the sidechain is so great! is it by a compressor on the CA track? is the midi learn necessary , i dont succeed to get the functions appearing, maybe because its the demo...
Close enough for me, I'm sold. I can't afford a real one, or a clone. I like your blue marvin. Nice comparison, thank you.
Would be interesting to compare the VM 2500 and the behringer 2500 series :-)
Nice vid :-) as usual 🌟🌟🌟
I didn't know about this company. Thanks 🙏
I think this thing needs a multi and compressor when using in a music track lol. Good to see what it does on the test bench though. Good work.

I love cherry audio's prices. I bought a bunch of their stuff yesterday. Great company. Top quality. No I am not a paid shill 😂
Thank you again for doing this time consuming videos. Cheers
It`s usually the extreme resonance where the software filters break - this seems to be the case as well. The more mellow sounds are deceptively same than in the b2600
Sorry for steering @deadscene.com/ deadscene.com wrong about the filter... I would have sworn the hardware was 12db/oct. Now I'm doubting which reality I currently exist in!
@Starsky Carr, I deleted my earlier comment and stand corrected. I see that even the original ARP filter is 24dB. Thanks, and apologies for scaring you. Great video!
Thanks for these comparisons vids. I love Cherry Audio. Great price, convincing sounds and the standalone app it’s awesome!
