I usually stay at one of the hotels near the airport. Much less money, then take the tram or bus to town. The hotel always gives you a pass for your stay in town.

Been living in Geneva for twenty years. You have to come back and se Bains des Paquis. Its a whole vibe all year around. Cold water swimming in the lake is heaven. They have amazing fondue. Summertime is epic as well. Come back and check it out.
