Need to replace my wedges soon and these are definitely being considered.
Edel is a Texas company here in America and I see them more now
These wedges are the real deal, plus Edel customer service is second to none!
Peter slowly staring using all Bryson gear
Peter/all: How easy are these to hit for a higher handicapper? Say vs a Cleveland CBX2 or Cleveland Smart Sole? I can hit wedges off of a mat but have problems with ball contact on actual turf(chunks/thin). I have hit the older Smart Soles and they are very easy to hit since the wide sole/high bounce doesn't dig into the turf.
i adore my Edel putter and i'll never ever use another brand again. Superb.
Matt was my golf coach 10 + years ago, really cool to see what he’s up to now
he doesn't sound very Stockporty.
Very interesting. I carry three Vokeys in my bag. These new clubs look great and the fitting process - wow. So, what are the costs of the fittings and the clubs and how do you book? As always Peter, a great vid! Yours aye, Alan
That ‘v grind’ sole was being done by Roger Cleveland back in 2002 on the Callaway tour van. Quite a clever design for the right player
Death, taxes, and Peter Finch changing clubs... 😂
Wow Pete, great video. I love the way you put it together. I also like the look of the wedges, I bet that fitting cost a wedge in itself 🤣🤣
Niche clubs are fantastic. There are some really nice products out there. My first set of custom irons were from a local fitter about 20+ years ago. He used KZG Evolution II heads with 105gm DG shafts. They were one of the best set of irons that I ever hit. I still have them as a back up and play them from time to time. The Edel wedges look awesome! I didn’t know that wedges were made with moveable weights. It only makes sense after watching your video.
Great vid Pete, nice to see someone genuinely using these kinds of clubs. Would be interesting to see you play a comp with a bag composed of strictly lesser known brands, ie - Inesis, edel Etc
6000 shots is 1000 hours hitting balls ?
This is what PXG do with their more expensive clubs on a full custom fit, the tungsten weights are added to suit each person's swing characteristics. Nice to see Callaway paying homage to that system, without stating the obvious as I have.
I knew as soon as he said what he measured that it was an edel guy. David’s done an awesome job incorporating bioswing dynamics into fitting
Awesome
