Shop prints & bookmarks: 🤍Etsy.com/shop/RoyaltyNow What did Anne Boleyn really look like? After Anne Boleyn’s death, her image was essentially erased from England. The palace walls which once held the initials, H and A, are struck. Her portraits are painted over or destroyed. What we have left of her image is through posthumous portraits - potential copies of copies of a lost original. We do have one agreed-upon contemporary image, and that is a portrait medal, referred to as the “Moost Happi” medal, that was struck during her lifetime, probably to celebrate her second pregnancy and the upcoming birth of a son. I’ll compare each postulated portrait of Anne to the coin throughout the video to see which match the best. Anne Boleyn’s body has never been officially exhumed. It was hastily buried at the chapel of St. Peter Ad Vincula, adjacent to the tower, in an old Elm box. Her exact burial spot, under the tiles of the chapel, is unknown. The bones were then examined by a Dr. Mouat. He confirmed that the skeleton was that of a woman between 25 and thirty, with a delicate frame. She was of slender proportions, with a small lower jaw. She also had particularly small vertebrae - Lending credence to the story that she had a “little Neck”, and small, tapered hands and feet. She was between five feet and five foot three. All of these findings match up with the physical descriptions we have of Anne, but there is a possibility the bones are not Anne’s but rather Lady Rochfords or Queen Catherine Howard’s, who were also buried hastily near the same spot. I've created two brand new portraits - one from the proposed Holbein Sketch, and another from her National Portrait Gallery image, which is thought by many to be potentially the most accurate. 0:00 Introduction 0:52 The Life of Anne Boleyn 11:11 What did Anne Boleyn look like? 12:51 The Body of Anne Boleyn 13:56 Portrait Comparisons - Which is the most accurate? 18:42 Recreation Reveals Find us here: Instagram: 🤍Royalty_Now_ Tik Tok: 🤍RoyaltyNow Etsy: Etsy.com/Shop/RoyaltyNow Patreon: Patreon.com/RoyaltyNow RoyaltyNowStudios.com This video creation and final image are ©Royalty Now. The Other Boleyn Girl movie clips: 🤍 BUY THE MOVIE: 🤍 Don't miss the HOTTEST NEW TRAILERS: 🤍 CLIP DESCRIPTION: At the last moment, Mary (Scarlett Johansson) learns that her sister Anne (Natalie Portman) has not been granted clemency by the King. FILM DESCRIPTION: Adapted from author Philippa Gregory's historical novel of the same name, director Justin Chadwick's atmospheric period drama follows the fierce competition between sisters Mary (Scarlett Johansson) and Anne Boleyn (Natalie Portman) to win the affections of Tudor king Henry VIII (Eric Bana). Anne and Mary Boleyn are under pressure from their father and uncle to help maintain the family's rich legacy and ensure their further prosperity by winning the affections of none other than the king of England (Eric Bana). But life in the royal court is far different than it was in the countryside where these two sisters were raised, and before long their bid to earn the love of the king has transformed two once-happy sisters into bitter rivals. At first, it appears that Mary has triumphed in winning the king's favor by becoming his mistress and bearing him an illegitimate child. Despite her early success, however, Mary has underestimated just how clever and cunning her sibling can truly be. Not only does the relentless Anne manage to edge aside her sister in the eyes of King Henry, but she also succeeds in averting his gaze from his wife, Queen Catherine of Aragon, as well. Mary is driven by genuine affection for King Henry, while her sister Anne has only kept up the charade in a desperate bid to become the queen of England. Now, the growing chasm between two sisters is mirrored on a larger scale as England becomes divided more than ever before. As the consequences of their actions threaten to alter the course of an entire nation, these two sisters will ultimately discover that the only place they will find true strength and loyalty is in family, and that no matter what the consequences they will forever be bound by blood. Wolf Hall is a British television serial first broadcast on BBC Two in January 2015. The six-part series is an adaptation of two of Hilary Mantel's novels, Wolf Hall a fictionalised biography documenting the rapid rise to power of Thomas Cromwell in the court of Henry VIII through to the death of Sir Thomas More, followed by Cromwell's success in freeing the king of his marriage to Anne Boleyn. “The most disgusting thing, in my mind, about Anne’s death, is that the charges against her were all lies. It was so pathetic that they had to chop her head off just so Henry could get away with marrying someone else. But she wouldn’t give up. She refused to go to a nunnery, she wouldn’t accept that she was no longer of use to the king, and so they killed her. She was entirely at the behest of this one man. And he did it because he could.” Claire Foy
You've likely heard tales of Anne Boleyn, the alluring woman who convinced King Henry VIII of England to give up his wife and child, break from the Catholic Church, and marry her. And she was the mother of one of the most renowned monarchs in British history, Elizabeth I. But there's a lot more to Anne than just her personal affairs, many of which were magnified or inaccurately portrayed by those with a political agenda after her death. So, who was Anne Boleyn really? #AnneBoleyn #BritishHistory #WeirdHistory
This is my entry for SYTYCV: Tudor England. It's based on Anne's execution and her speech before. I hope the last part where Anne 'remembers' her life isn't too long. Clips: The Tudors Season 2 Episode 10

[Watch in small screen + HD] Well ! This has been a project I've had in mind for many many months and I finally found the strength to make it happen thanks to my lovely friend Samantha aka brokenCrown who came to me and suggested a collab video about our dearest Anne. This is thus a collab as you can see, and I'm so thrilled to show it to you all and especially to Morgane (burnwithu), who has been my friend for a while now and it turns out that it's (or was) her birthday. So Sam and I thought we could offer it to her as a birthday gift, since she is too, a zealous Anne Boleyn lover. Happy birthday my friend ! I'm not the bragger type or anything but I think and I have to say, that this may be the best collab I've done so far; from all the ones I made and all the sweet people I have had the honor to work with. I am aware that this is far from the format I usually I post on this channel, but I really wanted to try that character study kind of vid and I know it's rather long but I hope you'll like it all the same, or perhaps even love it, as I do. Go check brokenCrown's amazing work and subscribe to her channel : 🤍 Link to Sam's video : 🤍 She made part two, four and six and I made part one, three and five. burnwithu's channel : 🤍 Inspiration and music taken from "Bnaz" and her gorgeous video : 🤍 Show : The Tudors Coloring : Sunnyvids Thumbnail : Sam Program : Fcpx & Svp 13 #fanvidfeed #anneboleyn #thetudors

There have been many depictions of ANNE BOLEYN'S EXECUTION on screen, but how accurate are some of the best known portrayals of the Queen’s final minutes? In this week’s History Calling video, I’m going to pit Hollywood versus history by looking at three of the best known movies and TV shows about Anne’s life from recent years and comparing them to each other and the historical record to see who did it best. The video will ask how accurate was Wolf Hall, starring Claire Foy, The Other Boleyn Girl starring Natalie Portman and The Tudors, starring Natalie Dormer, when it came time to show how the death of Anne Boleyn played out. It will look at Anne Boleyn’s final speech on the scaffold on 19 May 1536, what she wore, her demeanour and how those around her acted. This is a six wives documentary with a difference, as we look at how arguably the most famous execution in history, of perhaps the most famous Queen of England has been portrayed through a medium which didn’t come into existence until nearly 300 years after the event. At the end, I’ll ask who you think makes the best Anne Boleyn on screen. Patreon: 🤍 Instagram: 🤍 SUBSCRIBE with NOTIFICATIONS switched on for new videos every Friday. Ben Anne Boleyn. Kendimi her fırsatta geliştirdim. Elizabeth’i doğurarak değiştirmiştim. Her şey farklı olacaktı. Beni sevmeyebilirsiniz. Ayıplayabilirsiniz. Ama varsa biraz cesaretiniz, yaşadığınız dönemde size yanlış gelen tüm kuralları değiştirebilirsiniz.

Katherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn - the first two wives of the Tudor king, Henry VIII - are so often portrayed as opposites. Katherine as the loyal, scorned wife - Anne as the bright, bewitching upstart. But now Prof. Suzannah Lipscomb returns to Hever Castle to explore what Anne and Katherine were really like - two well-educated women whose personalities and actions lie at the heart of the upheaval of Henry VIII’s reign. They shape this story - and play just as large a role in it as any of the men. You can watch the full episode here on History Hit TV: 🤍 Suzannah sifts through the evidence, the love letters sent by Henry Viii and two near-identical bibles owned by Anne and Katherine that Hever have brought together for the first time in nearly 500 years. They are full of clues about the women's personalities and beliefs. Although Anne and Katherine’s rivalry changed history, Suzannah poses a surprising question: did these fascinating, well-educated women have more in common than separated them? Rick Wakeman - Anne Boleyn - The Six Wives Of Henry VIII
No one knows exactly who composed "Greensleeves." It has been attributed to Henry VIII, the much married King of England, with speculation that the words were inspired by Anne Boleyn during the XVI century. The content of this video was made with footage taken from the series "The Tudors". All audio material and every instrument in this song was arranged by me. Hope you enjoy it!

A few things to note about this comparison: Starting off with my Marie Antoinette costume. I made this using the historical methods I learned during my Internship at the Millinery Shop in Colonial Williamsburg. HOWEVER, this is specifically based on the costume worn by Kirsten Dunst in the film by Sofia Coppola “Marie Antoinette” (2006). Specifically the scene where she is on the couch having her tootsies rubbed while eating cake and generally living the dream. The movie gown had no sleeves added BUT I tracked down exactly two quick photos of the gown with little gauzy sleeves that were later removed. I made the gown without the sleeves, tried it on, and I FELT WEIRD with my shoulders bare in an 18th century dress 😅😅😅😅 In comparison the Anne Boleyn costume was made by 🤍tudorroyaltyexperience and despite having interned for the Tudor Tailor and worked on the second book, I know nothing Jon Snow 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ I can’t tell you much about Tudor Fashion, sorry it’s just not a time period I have alot of experience with. Yes, technically Marie Antoinette would have been dressed by her ladies as well but I do the best with what I have which is just me 🙋🏻♀️ #marieantoinette #marieantoinettestyle #18thcenturycostuming #tudorfashion #anneboleyn #cosplay

At Blickling Hall in the County of Norfolk, a terrible apparition appears on the anniversary of the execution of Queen Anne Boleyn. A ghostly carriage of four black spectral horses commanded by a headless horseman ghost moves swiftly and silently along the drive toward the hall. Within the carriage sits the tragic Queen, her white dress stained with the blood that drips from her severed head which she holds in her lap.
