I had a artist record deal working with RCA & CURB Records during this time and did a Live Country Showcase for them and was excited that three other major record labels showed up as well. We did the showcase at the "12th & Porter" music venue here in Nashville, TN on March 10th, 1992. The video quality is not the best, as you can tell, as it was transferred from VHS to DVD, I am still so very excited to have it to preserved it here on YouTube as it was a very special show and a very exciting time in my musical career. I do want to thank one of my best friend Ron Wright for recording this. Had it not been for you buddy, I would not have had this at all for the great memory it is! As the 42nd Lieutenant Governor of California from 1979 to 1983, Curb, a Republican, was the acting governor of California while Democratic Governor Edmund G. "Jerry" Brown Jr. spent time outside California on state business and pursuing presidential ambitions. Early life and education Curb was born in Savannah, Georgia to Charles McCloud Curb and Stella Curb, and raised in Southern California's San Fernando Valley. He has one sister. This video is almost 15 years old, hard to believe! This is my old band Reno with Tony Wade on guitar and my brother Jason Cook on drums. We were signed to Curb Records and this was our first single. It stars lots of our friends and some of Nashville's finest artists. This is obviously before my CMT days. I don't think CMT would dig the yellow hair, blue eyeshadow, and nose ring, ha ha. I kinda miss my crazy old look though. Hope you enjoy!
