One of the best Filipino food meals you can eat in Manila! ►Subscribe to my channel for more food videos: 🤍 Aling Sosing's is often considered to be one of the best carinderias, or local Filipino food restaurants, in all of Manila. The crowd that shows up to eat lunch here everyday reinforces the fact that they are no doubt one of the spots you want to be in Manila, if you’re a food lovers. When I was eating in Manila, eating at Aling Sosing's was certainly among the best local Filipino food restaurants that I tried. Aling Sosing's is a very typical type of local street food restaurant, sitting on the corner of a street, near to Makati. Just like most carinderias, all the food is prepared ahead of time, and sits at the front of the restaurant. When you arrive to order, you just simply pick and choose the different dishes that you want to order, find a table, and they will bring you the dishes to your table. Additionally, some of the famous dishes to eat at Aling Sosing's are off the grill, and you’ll smell the wonderful aroma of the grilling meats the entire time you’re eating, and it’s fantastic. Ying and I arrived about 11 am on a weekday, and luckily we beat the main lunch traffic, but just barely. There were tables available when we arrived, but as soon as we sat down and order it filled up. Sof if you eat at Aling Sosing's Carinderia you might want to arrive before the main lunch rush. Additionally, some of the Filipino food dishes sell out fast, and they don’t cook them again for the day - once they are sold out, they are done for the day. Here are the main Filipino dishes I ordered: Pinakbet - A stew of mixed vegetables, oftentimes flavored with shrimp paste. This was the best versions of pinakbet I’ve ever had. Inihaw na tilapia - The grilled tilapia is quite well known at this restaurant. It was simple and delicious. Inihaw na liempo - The grilled pork belly is one of their signature dishes, and it’s every bit as good and smoky as it looks. Kaldereta - A Filipino food I love so much is kaldereta, a goat stew, mainly because I love goat so much. It was oily, but really good. Adobong pusit - I saw the squid the pot and decided to try it out. It was a little on the sweet side. Pork BBQ - Fresh off the grill, Ying and I ordered some of their pork bbq. The pork was tender and lathered in bbq, it was amazing. Total price - 640 PHP ($12.90) If you’re looking for a local Filipino restaurant in Manila that I think serves some of the best Filipino food, Aling Sosing's is a restaurant you’re going to want to check out. The food is awesome, the setting and positive atmosphere is refreshing, and the constant smoke from the grill will keep your nose happy and wanting more! Aling Sosing’s Carinderia Address: Palanan 5819 Zobel Roxas, Palanan Makati City, Philippines Open hours: 8 am - 6 pm from Monday - Saturday Camera gear I use: Main camera: 🤍 Main lens: 🤍 2nd camera: 🤍 2nd lens: 🤍 Microphone: 🤍 Gorillapod: 🤍 *These are Amazon affiliate links I would love to connect with you! They are known for a few speciality foods, but probably the most famous, and a food you’ll find all over the Philippines is chicken inasal - a unique style of barbecue chicken! Today we’re going on an ultimate bbq tour in Bacolod, and we’re going to uncover the secret as to why it’s so good! The Bacolod Food Hunters (🤍 - Huge thank you to Martin and the team from The Bacolod Food Hunters for taking me around in Bacolod and for showing me some of the best places to eat bbq! Here are the locations and the places we ate in this video: Aida's Chicken (🤍 - We’re starting at Manokan Country, probably the most famous place in Bacolod for chicken inasal, and it’s really so incredibly iconic. There are a few dozen places to choose from, but Martin recommended Aida’s as one of the local favorites. We were lucky to get into the kitchen to see the grilling action, and it’s some of the most exciting grill action you’ll see! One of the secrets of chicken inasal, along with all the marinade, is the continual basting of chicken oil and anatto as its being grilled. This keeps the chicken juicy and moist, and when you eat it, you eat more chicken oil in the rice. Total price - 687 PHP ($12.53) for everything. Chai Rose Barbecue (🤍 - To continue this Filipino food tour we went to another legendary bbq spot on Bacolod known as Chai Rose Barbecue. They have insasal as well, but their speciality is pork bbq skewers. The taste is sweet and salty and it goes great along with chicken oil rice as well. Silay City BBQ - We continued on to a small Filipino barbecue stall under a tree in Silay City. The family was so friendly and welcoming, and they have the full bbq spread of about 20 different skewers to choose from. The bbq was hot and delicious and especially good with Aunty’s homemade chili vinegar. Total price - 170 PHP ($3.10) Man Plaza - Finally to complete this Filipino street food tour of barbecue and inasal in Bacolod we went to one more legendary place - a place that’s frequented by local students in the area - Man Plaza. It’s an entire bbq plaza all under one roof with about a dozen stalls to choose from. We chose a place called Royam’s. Expect plenty of smoke and friendly people! And that completes this ultimate Philippines barbecue inasal tour in Bacolod, one of the world’s greatest grilled chicken recipes! 🎵MUSIC: 🤍 —————————————————— 📱FOLLOW: Instagram: 🤍 Facebook: 🤍 —————————————————— 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️ NEW: Smoked Ghost Pepper Available Now: Direct: 🤍 Amazon: 🤍 (affiliate link on Amazon in US)

🇵🇭 Philippines Chicken Inasal: 🤍 🌶️ Get Smoked Ghost Pepper: 🤍 🔔 Subscribe: 🤍 CORDOVA, PHILIPPINES - Today I’m hanging out with my friends 🤍BhenYuri and we’ve been invited over to the 🤍yangcofamilymukbang9627 who make family village food and mukbang videos. They are cooking one of the greatest Filipino food meal experiences you can have - a boodle fight! Cordova is just a short drive from Cebu, yet it’s a totally different world - quiet, relaxing, and still some countryside. The Yangco family has a fantastic property with a farm, vegetables, and even chickens. A boodle fight is a communal style of eating where everyone stands around a table and eats together communally. For this Filipino food boodle fight they are making a couple dishes - a very unique roasted chicken in a tin can wrapped in a banana stalk. Humba bisaya, a braised pork stew that’s one of the favorite dishes of the Visayas, and finally kinalaw - raw fish marinated in vinegar, and this time with grilled pork. Once all the dishes were finished cooking we then set the table with everything - the rice on first, all the meat and side dishes, and even fruits around the table. It was an absolute feast, and one of the best Filipino food meals I’ve ever had! Thank you to my friends Bhen and Yuri: 🤍 And huge thank you to Yangco Family: 🤍 🎵MUSIC: 🤍 —————————————————— 📱FOLLOW: Instagram: 🤍 Facebook: 🤍 —————————————————— 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️ NEW: Smoked Ghost Pepper Available Now: Direct: 🤍 Amazon: 🤍 (affiliate link on Amazon in US)
