Leela is an ancient game charting the soul’s path towards reunion with the absolute of cosmic consciousness. The game is a Hindu game designed by yogis in India as a tool for inner standing the relationship of the individual self with the Absolute self. The game is 72 squares charting the path representing the course of life. Each square represents a virtue or a vice as an aspect of consciousness and the book of Leela by Harish Johari comes with an explanation of each square with a board game to work with. As the player rises up the chakras of the game, they realize greater aspects of Self as the gradual detachment from the delusions of ego occur. This ancient Leela boardgame teaches us about life, yoga and the chakras. As I was taught through this game by Harish Johari and played it daily for years afterwards, I learned so much. Most importantly, the snakes and arrows on the gameboard should be closely watched so that one can learn also what most often takes our energy down or pushes it upwards. Leela again seemed in control of the game and defended without any problems when she was with black and with white created some problems for Houdini but without anything much more than just applying some pressure where Houdini managed to draw eventually. So after first 7 games were draws, last game(8) before tiebreaks, was a very sharp and double edged opening Leela decided to get into, where she played some nice speculative attacking moves trying to apply pressure to the weak Kingside so Houdini had to be very careful, even though Houdini had a very strong counterplay with 2 advanced passed Pawns on the Queenside so Leela should had that in mind too. But Houdini played 2 suboptimal moves that can maybe even characterized as mistakes or blunders, but not that obvious mistakes though and more analysis is needed as position is crazy complicated, and Leela grasped the chance to attack! The attack went great and Leela played some nice attacking Chess and she played move 31 playing fxe5 with a +3.16 score while Houdini was at +0.47 and Stockfish dev 176 threads (that was kibitzing the game) didn't see fxe5 and was preferring 31.Rf1 with +1.11. After Leela played 31.fxe5 and after 2 more moves having been played the 176 thread Stockfish jumped to +3.03 seeing indeed that Leela's move was sound and superb. After that it was more or less over so Leela went on to win and win the final and the CUP! Leela again seemed in control of the game and defended without any problems when she was with black and with white created some problems for Houdini but without anything much more than just applying some pressure where Houdini managed to draw eventually. So after first 7 games were draws, last game(8) before tiebreaks, was a very sharp and double edged opening Leela decided to get into, where she played some nice speculative attacking moves trying to apply pressure to the weak Kingside so Houdini had to be very careful, even though Houdini had a very strong counterplay with 2 advanced passed Pawns on the Queenside so Leela should had that in mind too. But Houdini played 2 suboptimal moves that can maybe even characterized as mistakes or blunders, but not that obvious mistakes though and more analysis is needed as position is crazy complicated, and Leela grasped the chance to attack! The attack went great and Leela played some nice attacking Chess and she played move 31 playing fxe5 with a +3.16 score while Houdini was at +0.47 and Stockfish dev 176 threads (that was kibitzing the game) didn't see fxe5 and was preferring 31.Rf1 with +1.11. After Leela played 31.fxe5 and after 2 more moves having been played the 176 thread Stockfish jumped to +3.03 seeing indeed that Leela's move was sound and superb. After that it was more or less over so Leela went on to win and win the final and the CUP! Leela qualified after she cleared Division P undefeated, winning at least once head-to-head against every opponent except Houdini. Her opponent in the superfinal is Stockfish, who lost once to Leela head-to-head in Division P, but finished with a higher score by winning more games than Leela against the other Division P competitors. In the just-concluded TCEC Cup III, seeding was determined by the engines' finishing position in their divisions, with the exception of Leela, who was automatically seeded #1 as the Defending Cup Champion. Leela easily handled Round 32 and Round 16 of TCEC Cup 3, knocking out Marvin (5-0) and Booot (4.5-0.5). The quarterfinals featured the same engines as Division P with Leela knocking out Fire (5-3). In the semifinal, Leela scored two wins over Houdini ending with a 4.5-2.5 score to advance to the cup final versus Stockfish. In the final, Leela and Stockfish played their first eight games to a tie, each with one win and one loss. In the first tie-breaker pair, Leela won as white and held Stockfish to a draw on the reverse, winning the match 5.5-4.5 for her second consecutive TCEC Cup. In the hours before the superfinal, the TCEC team ran various unofficial tests at disparate time controls. One such test match featured Stockfish at 30' + 5" time control and Leela 1/10th of that at 3' + 0.5". Leela still won a game and drew the match despite the large time disadvantage. Prior to the Cup, Leela faced the supercharged 176-thread, 7-man tablebase "Bluefish" version of the Stockfish engine that is used as a kibitzer for the TCEC eval graphs. Again, Leela won a game and drew the match.
