Finally Nelo Angelo is BACK! Yeah, of course, this is a mod, but for the first time in DMC5 we can play as a proper Corrupted Vergil, with Nelo as his SDT. Nothing changes gameplay wise, this is just an aesthetic mod, but DAMN! This is very good looking. I wanted to give the same feeling as when you play him in DMC3; Infinite DT, No cost for Summoned Swords, and more or less invincible lol. I even had to put the enemies in 0.1 of damage because they were dying sooo quick! It had to be done. Nelo Angelo isn’t very strong, he’s just a tank. Normal Vergil is much stronger in most situations. I do find he's quite good at clearing out any remaining enemies after Devil Trigger Explosions. The Zweihander is like a more limited but much larger Rebellion. Bloody Palace with Vergil is also done! I might try it with Dante but I feel like regardless of what your setup is there’s going to be a few enemies that give him a lot of issues..

I've defeated this guy on Dante Must Die difficulty 3 times in my life and he's still one of the most difficult bosses I've ever fought in gaming. Lots of health, insanely fast, almost no recovery time on his attack, ridiculous damage. I got somewhat good RNG here but just look at the damage he deals. Holy shit. Those goddamn phantom swords are so nerve-racking. Some of the patterns are easy but the thing is, you have to study them and learn to read them to know what to do. Near the end he remains in the air while throwing projectiles at you in combination with phantom swords. Crazy. Devil May Cry HD Collection 🤍

Dante fights the black knight, "Nelo Angelo" aka his twin brother, "Vergil" in Devil May Cry. In this video, I showcase all the main boss fight encounters, of Nelo Angelo from the game. He appears in Mission 4, 11 & 17. Who is Nelo Angelo? He is the alternate form of Vergil, Dante's twin brother. After the events of Devil May Cry 3, Vergil battled Mundus in the underworld, but lost. Vergil became under the control of Mundus and took the form, Nelo Angelo. NOTE: Much like the other encounters with Nightmare, it can force Dante into another dimension and he would have to fight Nelo Angelo (Vergil) again and among the others bosses you encountered in the game. But they are treated as an optional bosses and it only happen when you get caught in Nightmare's trap. I' am playing the Nintendo Switch version of the game. All footage was recorded by me using the Elgato Game Capture HD60 Device and everything was edited by me in Final Cut Pro X. I tried ps4's share factory just put that epic intro into the video, well.. this software have lots of room to improve thats for certain, there are so many ways can go wrong in this fight, so I have to rely on Ifrit's massive damage and guard breaking attacks to shorten the fight a lot more, which this is the most common tactic from most of the dmc1 dmd playthroughs yea, i did this way bk in 8+ years ago but oh well.. it is just not fun! the challenges i have to face are somewhat hard to read Nelo Angelo / Vergil's behavior, the fixed camera, a somewhat semi unresponsive controls [it is mostly a punishment system to not let players keep spamming jumping like a panic maniac or braindead idiot], Summoned Swords, Nelo Angelo / Vergil's Greatsword's gigantic hitbox. Sadly im just not good enough to keep styling and taunting and have full control in this fight like i was intended, just how talented Kail, Donguri, Koudai T and some other god like dmc players really are? I may reupload the intended version of this fight someday but for now, this is the best i can do, hope you'll enjoy my another sloppy gameplay!
