In this video Dr. Swapna chekuri (Test tube baby consultant and gynecologist at Hyderabad Women and Fertility Centre, Hyderabad ) will tell us about the danger signs during pregnancy. About 80-90% of pregnancies are happy and normal. But 10-20% percent of pregnancies can cause problems. These problems can appear suddenly. Therefore, it is important to know what these problems are, when these problems can appear, what these problems mean and how to treat them. The biggest of these problems is bleeding during pregnancy. Sometimes during pregnancy there is bleeding of fresh red color or blood stains or abdominal pain starts. Sometimes this discharge comes without pain and sometimes this bleeding can happen in the first or second trimester. So when this bleeding starts then it becomes very important to be alert as this bleeding is a sign of abortion. And when this bleeding occurs in the third trimester, it means that the placenta has come down. When there is bleeding and this placenta comes down, then there is no pain in it. But when there is a stiffness in the uterus, then it should be understood that the placenta has been missed. Blood is delivered to the baby from the placenta. This problem is called placental abruption which can also be fatal for the baby. When shock or epilepsy occurs during pregnancy, it is not good for both the baby and the mother. Before epilepsy comes, the headache starts and the vision becomes blurred. Along with this, sometimes swelling can occur in the body ie in the feet, in the fingers and on the face. All this means increased blood pressure. It is very dangerous for the child. This problem is called eclampsia. When this happens, the doctor may ask for an early and timely delivery so that the baby and the mother remain healthy. Sometimes a fever can occur during pregnancy that does not go away with common medicines such as paracetamol. Then you should go to the doctor and get admitted in the hospital. Sometimes walking becomes difficult during pregnancy, one leg swells, it becomes red and along with it the calf muscles become swollen and red. This is called deep veinous thrombosis. In this, clots are formed in the blood vessels of the feet. It can be dangerous for the health of the mother. Sometimes during pregnancy pain starts in the lower abdomen and pain starts in the legs and abdomen like periods. This is a sign of premature delivery. After this, without wasting any time, I should go to the doctor, who can stop the premature birth by working this pain. There are some regular movements of the baby which he does in the womb after getting up, after eating. If you are not able to feel the regular movements of the baby, then you should go to the doctor. If you are unable to feel your baby's movements for more than 6 hours, you should see a doctor. Baby should move at least 4 times in one hour after eating Watch full video for more details. thanks! In this video Dr. Swapna Chekuri is going to tell some important precautions to be taken before one week of delivery... In pregnancy time there have been so many changes in the mother's body and the new mother always feels that if things had been known earlier, then things would have become easier now. Ways You Can Prepare for Labor Take a class The most important thing parents-to-be can do to prepare for labor and delivery is to take a childbirth class. Rest up You can’t exactly bank sleep and then withdraw it later when you’re exhausted from late-night feeding and burp sessions. Eat right Fueling your soon-to-labor body with healthy meals is another smart path to success when it comes to preparing for childbirth. As you near the end of your pregnancy, fill your plate with nutrient-dense pregnancy superfoods such as lean meats, lentils, yogurt, wild salmon, nuts, veggies and whole grains. Keep moving We’re not gonna lie — labor is hard work, which is why getting regular exercise during pregnancy sets you up nicely to tackle this challenge. By sticking to a routine that you enjoy, whether it’s walking, swimming, low-impact dance classes or gentle yoga, you’ll improve your strength and stamina, aim for 30 minutes of exercise at least five days a week. Focus on relaxation If you see it, you can achieve it! Practicing mindfulness via mediation, yoga or deep breathing can help train your mind to stay focused and relaxed on the big day. Pack your hospital bag Another easy do-ahead task is to pack a hospital bag so it’s ready to go (and putting one together is kind of fun!). Check out our handy lists of the items you really should include when you go to the hospital. Write a birth plan While certainly not mandatory, making your wishes known before you’re in labor can help you feel empowered and prepared — and a birth plan is the perfect place to lay it all out. మీ హాస్పిటల్‌ బ్యాగ్‌లో ఇవన్నీ ఉన్నాయా...? || Hospital Bag Checklist ☛ 🤍 #pregnancycare #normalDelivery #squats #carebeforePregnancy Our Location on Google map... 🤍 🤍 🤍 - #Infertility #PCOD #PCOS #babyweight #DrSwapnaChekuri #HyderabadFertility ☛Like Us at Facebook: ►🤍 ☛Follow Us at Instagram: ►🤍 ☛Follow us on Twitter: ►🤍 ☛For more IVF IUI ICSI Fertility Success Stories please subscribe our Channel & share it. ► Visit our Official Website: 🌐 🤍 For Latest Updates on Infertility Issues ☛ Subscribe for Latest Updates: 🤍 Common causes of infertility problems in #women - Ovulation problems - Endometriosis - Poor egg quality - Polycystic ovarian syndrome - Tubal factors - Unexplained fertility problems - Get expert guidance from the #IVFspecialist - #pregnancy and #parenting experts today. Dr. Swapna chekuri, Fertility Specialist gives you information about 1.Get a preconception checkup done. Before you start trying for pregnancy, get a checkup. Your doctor will tell you about prenatal vitamins especially folic acid and look for any pre-existing medical illness. Folic acid works during the early stages of pregnancy and protects against some birth defects like neural tube defects. 2. Know your cycle. It is very important to understand your menstrual cycle. No two women have same menstrual cycles. So, one should know about their own cycles, their fertile period and ovulation. Signs and symptoms of ovulation must be clear in mind as this is the most important step towards pregnancy. 4. Staying in bed right after intercourse. Its a good idea to lay in bed for 10 to 15 minutes after intercourse as it give time to the sperm to travel in the birth canal. 5. De-stress yourself in any way you can. Keep your mind and body relaxed. Stress can interfere with ovulation. You can use any stress busting activities that you like. Meditation and breathing exercises can do wonders. 6. Live active life. A very important and common reason for a scan in the third trimester is to check the baby is growing normally (a growth scan) or not. The doctor will measure the size of your bump by feeling your belly (palpation) and measuring your bump with a tape measure. An ultrasound test beyond 35 weeks of pregnancy is the safest and most accurate method to ensure that the baby is growing normally. With Growth scan we can measure baby's head, waist, and thigh bone and also we will come to know the amount of amniotic fluid around your baby • observe your baby's movements • record the position of your baby and the placenta • measure the blood flow in the cord and in some vessels in your baby's head. It is recommended that girls have their first gynecologist visit between the ages of 9 years or 13 and 15, or when they become sexually active. This visit can include a physical exam, discussion of menstrual and sexual health, and any necessary vaccinations or screenings. However, If a girl has any concerns or problems related to their menstrual cycle, reproductive health, or sexual health, they should schedule a visit with a gynecologist as soon as possible. During a girl's first visit to a gynecologist, the doctor will typically conduct a physical exam, which may include a breast exam, a pelvic exam, and a Pap smear (if the patient is over the age of 21 or sexually active). The doctor will also discuss the patient's menstrual cycle, including any concerns or problems the patient may be experiencing. They will also talk about contraception options and answer any questions the patient may have. The visit may also include any necessary vaccinations or screenings. It's important to note that the first visit may be more of a consultation, so the patient can get to know the doctor and discuss any specific concerns they may have. How to get Fair baby..? Our Indian mothers feel that their baby should be fair. This wish has been going on in mothers for centuries. In this video Dr. Swapna Chekuri will give detailed information about this. Priority to the health of the baby. Genetics play a big hand. Disadvantages of a fairer color Your own baby, he is dear to himself whether he is fair or black, short or tall, but we have our own baby, we love him and that baby loves us. The baby should be physically and mentally healthy and should remain healthy, it is more important than the color of the baby. By the way, the color of our skin, the color of our hair, the color of our eyes, our height all depend on genetics. When the father's genes are present in high quantity in our baby, then the baby looks like the father or sometimes they mix, then the qualities of both come in the baby, but sometimes it has also been seen that our baby has maternal grandfather, grandfather, Grandma, Nani also get to see their guns. We are very eager for fair complexion, but when we are fair, then the pigment named melanin remains very less, when we remain dark, then there is a good amount of melanin in our body. This melanin protects us from sun rays. That is why when our skin remains dark then we are less likely to get skin cancer. Every mother thinks that our baby should be fair and this has been going on for centuries. Our elderly people tell us at home that you consume saffron, consume ghee, consume milk, consume fruits, drink coconut water, eat dry fruits and they say that by consuming all these your baby will become fair. You should eat all this because it is good for your health but there is no proof that it will make your baby fair. Watch full video for more details. thanks! Today in this video Dr. Swapna chekuri after how many days after delivery should we make a relationship? Or you can have intercourse and what precautions should be taken while doing it. When the delivery takes place, the new mother is physically and mentally disturbed a lot. Because after delivery night sleep becomes bad, body pain, back pain occurs. So because of all these reasons the mother does not agree to have a relationship. So, without the consent of the mother, the new father should not have a relationship. When the mother has a normal delivery, the wound remains in the vaginal tract and the stitches remain. To make the delivery of the child easier, the doctor has to pierce which is called Episiotomy. When a home delivery is done without the assistance of a doctor, then the lower part of the mother's vagina ruptures, then that too remains a wound and when the mother has a C-section, then the wound on the abdomen remains. If so, they also have to give stitches. Generally these stiches take some time for the stiches of the vaginal tract and stomach stiches to heal. Sometimes this time is 15 days and sometimes it takes a month. Along with this, discharge comes out from the vaginal tract after delivery, which we call lochia and this lochia changes its color as time passes, so you do not have to be afraid at all. For the first 5 days, the color of the discharge remains red, which is called Lochia Rubra, usually there is a lump of blood, the baby's membranes remain, the baby's wax which is called vernix also remains. In 5 to 10 days, this discharge becomes slightly yellow, it is called Lochia serosa, in this also the body's secretions remain. In 10 to 25 days, this discharge becomes white, it is called Lochia Alba, there are a lot of white cells in it. Sometimes this discharge lasts for 3-4 weeks. Because the healing of our uterus continues, the mouth of the uterus remains open and if we make physical relations at this time, then there are more chances of infection. During pregnancy, the size of the uterus increases, after delivery it decreases but it gradually starts shrinking. By 4 - 6 weeks it comes to a completely normal state. So that's why doctors recommend that after 4-6 weeks of delivery, sex should not be made. What precautions should be taken while making a relationship after delivery? (Sex after Delivery precautions) After delivery the mother starts breastfeeding. We have a belief that as long as we are carrying the baby, the mother cannot conceive or there is another belief that the mother cannot conceive until the menstrual cycle starts. These don are misconceptions. When you are not able to breastfeed properly or have lactation failure, ovulation starts in 4 weeks after delivery so that the mother can conceive again. If you are not able to breastfeed properly then your periods will start at 6 weeks. If the mother's lactation is going very well. Mother is breastfeeding above day 8. If the duration and flow of the mother's feeding is good and the baby does not need to be given top food, then it is called good lactation. So in this you mother remains safe for 6 months and the chances of getting conceive are very less. How do we know that the baby has dropped and wiped off the baby category? Today Dr Swapna chekuri, Best Fertility Specialist in Hyderabad explains in detail what is Baby Dropping in this video. In Medical terminology we call Baby Dropping as lightening. Baby dropping means that the baby's head which rests above the pelvic cavity has now come inside the pelvis. And this is a sign that the passage of delivery is now ready. That means your body is getting ready for delivery. When does baby dropping start? When we are pregnant for the first time then baby dropping happens at a different time and when we are pregnant 2 or 3 times then baby dropping happens at a different time. It has no predictions. Sometimes the elders of our house see this. When our baby bump is reduced, then they tell that the delivery is now going to happen in a week or 2 weeks. Baby dropping starts up to eight and a half months. When we are pregnant for the first time, then baby dropping happens before delivery. It occurs before delivery in about 80% of mothers. How do we know that the baby has been dropping? 1- It is easy for us to breathe. 2- When the baby descends, then the uterus gives pressure on the mouth. 3- In our pelvis, a lot of pressure is felt in the lower part. 4- Going to the bathroom frequently. 5- Pain starts in the lower part of the pelvic. Today Dr. Swapna chekuri, Fertility Specialist explains in detail about why food cravings happen in pregnancy. Generally, if we see, we are more inclined to eat sweet things, which we did not like sweet things earlier. Sometimes there is an urge to eat non-food items Sometimes I feel like eating cut things. food cravings during pregnancy 50% of the people have food cravings and 50% of the people do not. Food cravings during pregnancy have absolutely nothing to do with our pregnancy health. Why do food cravings happen during pregnancy? Food cravings occur due to Mineral Deficiency, Vitamin Deficiency. If the amount of hemoglobin is low, then there is a craving for pica. Sometimes during pregnancy the taste and smell of our food changes due to hormones. A Pregnant Woman Should Include in Their Daily Diet at Least: Five servings of fresh fruits and vegetables Six servings of enriched, whole-grain breads and cereals. Three servings of nonfat or low-fat milk or milk products Two to three servings of extra-lean meats, chicken without the skin, fish, or cooked dried beans and peas Eight glasses of water The guidelines for eating well for a healthy pregnancy are simple and easy to follow. When, where, and how much they eat is flexible, and often is governed by necessity. A pregnant woman in their first trimester might choose a snack for breakfast and a large evening meal if they suffer from morning sickness, but select a larger breakfast and a light evening meal in the last trimester when heartburn is more of a problem. Avoid or limit caffeine and avoid alcohol and tobacco. Since no safe limit has been established for alcohol, abstinence is a woman's best bet. After giving childbirth, some health problems, some life-threatening, can happen in the weeks and months afterward and many aren't aware of the warning signs. Here's what you need to know about postpartum complications./ Problems after delivery. A growing problem After childbirth, it's common to experience fatigue and discomfort, such as perineal pain and uterine contractions. You might not know the difference between a normal recovery and the symptoms of a complication — or when to seek medical care. If you give birth in a hospital, your health care team might not identify risk factors for serious postpartum complications before you are discharged. Mothers also often don't see a health care provider until four to six weeks after childbirth, and as many as 40 percent don't attend a postpartum visit, likely due to limited resources. As a result, most receive little guidance on their postpartum recovery. Common postpartum complications Cardiovascular diseases Other medical conditions often reflecting pre-existing illnesses Infection or sepsis Excessive bleeding after giving birth (hemorrhage) A disease of the heart muscle that makes it harder for your heart to pump blood to the rest of your body (cardiomyopathy) A blockage in one of the pulmonary arteries in the lungs often caused by blood clots that travel to the lungs from the legs (thrombotic pulmonary embolism) High blood pressure (hypertensive) disorders of pregnancy A rare but serious condition that occurs when amniotic fluid or fetal material, such as fetal cells, enters the mother's bloodstream (amniotic fluid embolism) A red or swollen leg that's painful or warm to the touch A temperature of 100.4 F (38 C) or higher A headache that doesn't get better, even after taking medication, or a bad headache with vision changes Hyderabad Fertility Center is committed to offer world-class IVF solutions to couples at affordable price. Pregnancy depends mainly on timing. You want to make sure the conditions are right for egg and sperm to meet. Your menstrual cycle can give you clues about when your body is ready to start the process. The first step is to learn the days when you're most fertile. Most women have a 28-day menstrual cycle. That means you have about 6 days each month when you can get pregnant. That includes the day that one of your ovaries releases an egg, called ovulation, and the 5 days before. Having sex within that window is key. You can’t get pregnant without ovulation, and tracking your monthly periods is one way to get familiar with your body’s fertility. Day 1 is the first day of your period. Since the length of your cycle can vary slightly from month to month, it's best to keep track for a few months. Once you have an average, subtract 18 days from the length of your shortest cycle. This is the first day you're likely to be fertile. Next, subtract 11 days from the length of your longest cycle. This is the last day you're likely to be fertile. Having sex between those two dates will give you the best shot at getting pregnant. - Our Location on Google map... One difference between true and false labor is that false labor will not dilate your cervix. The contractions may come at regular intervals but they will not increase in strength or get closer together. The weeks immediately following a woman's birth are crucial for her and her baby's long-term health and well-being. To improve women's and children' health, postpartum care should become a continuous process rather than a one-time event, with resources and support tailored to each woman's specific requirements. All women should speak with their obstetrician–gynecologist–gynecologist–gynecologist–gynecologist–gynecologist Within the first three weeks after delivery, consult ecologists or other obstetric care specialists. After the birth of a newborn baby, its sucking capacity is good. Because of this, he is able to drink milk well in the first one hour. Therefore, as soon as the child is born, he is taken to the mother and fed the mother's milk. This also benefits the child and increases milk production. Today in this video Dr.Swapna Chekuri who is a Gynaecologist and Fertility specialist from Hyderabad Woman and Fertility Center explains How to breastfeed a newborn baby? (How to breastfeed a baby?) The doctor tells that no matter how the delivery takes place, the child should be breastfed as soon as possible. This is called the golden rule. The sooner the child drinks milk, the better the milk will be made. Correct position of breastfeeding Now after this, Dr tells about the best breastfeeding position after cesarean. There is pain after this delivery and it is difficult to get up and sit. Mom keeps taking most. At this time, by adopting the biological position, in which the baby is fed by lying on its own. This is called the prone breastfeeding position. Apart from this, stitches from normal delivery cause pain. If you have a lot of pain for the first two days, then by spreading the leg, taking back support, the baby is fed from side to side. This is called the football hold breastfeeding position. Apart from this, if you are unable to sit due to pain, then feed the child by lying on the cushioning bed and taking back support. And apart from this, remember that the problems of back pain are more than not taking back support. In the end, remember that the sooner the child drinks milk after birth, the better. As a pregnant mom, getting a good night's sleep can be challenging, especially during the later stages of pregnancy. Finding the best sleeping position is key to ensuring both you and your growing baby are comfortable and safe. Here are some tips for the best sleeping position during pregnancy: Sleep on your left side: Sleeping on your left side is considered the best sleeping position during pregnancy. This position improves blood flow to the uterus, kidneys, and fetus, and can also help prevent swelling. Use pillows for support: Placing pillows between your knees, under your belly, and behind your back can provide extra support and comfort. You can also consider investing in a pregnancy pillow designed specifically for this purpose. Avoid sleeping on your back: Sleeping on your back can cause the weight of your uterus to press on your spine and can lead to back pain and breathing difficulties. Don't worry too much about switching positions: It's common to shift positions throughout the night while sleeping. Just remember to start on your left side and use pillows for support. Today in this video Dr. Swapna chekuri, Test Tube Baby Consultant and Practicing Gynaecologist at Hyderabad women and fertility centre... is going to explain all about what is Bio Chemical Pregnancy?... What is Bio chemical pregnancy? Chemical Pregnancy Meaning Bio Chemical pregnancy is a common pregnancy which is found in 50% of the cases. This pregnancy becomes empty before it is detected and it is called early pregnancy loss. Is a biochemical pregnancy a real pregnancy? A biochemical pregnancy is a very real pregnancy where implantation did occur but one that results in a miscarriage within the first 2-3 weeks of conception. At this early stage, the pregnancy is only confirmed through elevated hCG levels and is usually not visible on ultrasound examination. Chemical pregnancy symptoms If your periods are late and come suddenly or come on their own after the date of the period, then it may be a chemical pregnancy. If the test comes positive at the time of chemical pregnancy, then sonography is done. During this nothing is seen and then the doctor is asked to do beta hcg. This test tells how much hcg is in the blood. Sometimes there is hcg in the blood but its quantity is less. Sometimes you get periods after a few days. Apart from this, when the egg and sperm fertilize, the embryo implants in the uterus on the fifth day. It splits into two parts. One is the placenta which nourishes the child and from the other part the child is ready. The important hormone of the placenta remains hcg. It is found in urine and blood. It gives support to the baby. Now when this hcg is present in urine then urine test comes positive and when it is in blood then beta hcg test is positive. For this reason, this test is done before the period comes. Now in such a situation, if you get periods, it means placenta has become but the growth of the child has stopped. And it is called chemical pregnancy. Reason for chemical pregnancy The main reason for this is a faulty embryo which occurs when there is an unbalanced division at the time of division of the embryo and the chromosomes may be less or more. It is more in those women whose age is above 30, there is diabetes, clotting disorder, etc. This chemical pregnancy can happen to everyone. For more details watch full video. PCOS is also a common and treatable cause of infertility Polycystic ovary syndrome #PCOS is a health problem that affects 1 in 10 women of childbearing age. Women with PCOS/PCOD have a hormonal imbalance and metabolism problems that may affect their overall health and appearance. Six months of treatment has been known to achieve successful pregnancies for about 20-40% of women with PCOS, 19 according to ACOG. When left untreated, PCOS can increase a woman's risk for endometrial (lining of the uterus) cancer. With PCOS, the ovary does not pop out an egg regularly. If no egg pops out aka ovulation, then no progesterone is produced. Thus, the lining of the uterus (endometrium) grows uncontrollably. "Cesarean Section - Why It Is Done..? What’s a planned C-section? Cesarean deliveries are common and generally safe, they have more risks than delivering a baby Normally. For this reason, normal births are recommended. But it’s possible to schedule a cesarean delivery in advance for medical reasons. For example, if your baby is breech and doesn’t change position as your due date approaches, your doctor may schedule a cesarean delivery. Additionally, cesarean deliveries are usually scheduled for medical reasons like... A cesarean delivery might be scheduled by your doctor in advance of your due date. Or it may become necessary during labor because of an emergency. Below are some of the most common medical reasons for a cesarean. Prolonged labor Abnormal positioning Fetal distress Birth defects Repeat cesarean Chronic health condition Cord prolapse Cephalopelvic disproportion (CPD) Placenta issues According to the American Pregnancy Association, placenta previa happens to 1 in every 200 pregnant women. About 1 percent of pregnant women experience placental abruption. Carrying multiples organ damage allergic reaction to anesthesia infections Should you schedule an elective C-section? Scheduled surgery for nonmedical reasons is called an elective cesarean delivery, and your doctor may allow this option. Some women prefer to deliver by surgery because it gives them more control in deciding when their baby is born. It can also reduce some anxiety about waiting for labor to start. #Csection #Infertility #Dr.SwapnaChekuri #HyderabadFertility For Latest Updates on Infertility Issues ☛ Visit our Official Website: 🤍 ☛ Subscribe for Latest Updates- 🤍 ☛ Like us : 🤍 For Treatment Contact : 093979 73737

Today in this video, Dr. Swapna Chekuri, is going to explain about Twins with IVF... Twin Pregnancy In IVF Talking about twin pregnancy, our uterus is made for only one baby. So if two babies or 3 babies become conceive in it, then there are chances of bleding, miscarriage or preterm birth. At the time of delivery, there is also a possibility of the child's weight remaining low. When 2 embryos are transferred and one of them is implanted, the remaining embryo molts or falls out. Sometimes it also happens that when the first scan is done, two sacs are visible in it, they are twins, but sometimes one of them starts the baby's heartbeat and the other remains the same. So seeing two sacs in the first scan does not mean that there are twins. Sometimes it also happens that 3 embryos transfer and all three are fine till 12th week, but it is very difficult to carry a pregnancy with triplets till the end as there may be a need for premature delivery. So that is why it is very important to be aware of all these aspects before embryo transfer. For more details watch full video. Today in this video Dr. Swapna chekuri, Fertility Specialist from Hyderabad Women and Fertility Centre (best Fertility Centre in Hyderabad ) is going to explain about...how to get pregnant... in which day of the monthly cycle the couple have to meet and how do we know that day? (How to calculate fertile days?) is going to tell about this. In the video, Dr. is explaining the best days to get pregnant. and how to calculate fertile days (how to calculate ovulation period for pregnancy) Ovulation Period for pregnancy There are three to four days in every menstrual cycle in which you can be coceive if you make a relationship, but two out of two, a couple makes mistakes and tries at the wrong time. Every woman's menstrual cycle means the length of the menstrual cycle is different. But when the length of the menstrual cycle is fixed. Then we do not see the fertile period to know the days in which ovulation is going to happen. But if the menstrual cycle remains irregular then it becomes visible in extracting fertile days. Because our upcoming period gets its ovulation 12-14 days before. The period after ovulation which is called luteal phase is fixed for 12-14 days. But the period before ovulation varies from person to person. Simultaneously, the sperms of men remain alive in the body of women for 3-4 days. That is why there are fertile days 3-4 days before ovulation and when a relationship is made in them, then the chances of getting conceive are good. How to calculate fertile days? (Ovulation Calculator) After ovulation, egg remains alive for only 18 to 24 hours. It remains alive for a day and we consider it in fertile period. But the sperm remains alive in the body of the woman for 3-4 days. If it has happened three days before ovulation, then it is considered fertile period. That is why the fertile period of each girl is different, which lasts three days before ovulation and one day after and remains different in everyone and she is associated with the ovulation period of 14 days from the coming period. There are two options for Ovulation Monitoring. 1. Follicular Study This is done through sonography and for this one has to go to the hospital again and again. 2. Digital Ovulation Kit Through this, you can get ovulation study done sitting at home so that you can know when ovulation is going to happen. This kit detects two types of hormones such as estrogen and LH, which we know about the ovulation period. For more details watch full video. Why is a hole made in the vaginal tract during normal delivery? (Episiotomy in telugu) Many times women do not have the right information about delivery, where it is heard a lot, but it is very important for women to have the right knowledge about it. In this video Dr. Swapna chekuri, best fertility specialist in hyderabad, will explain in detail about it. When a pregnant lady is about to have a normal delivery, doctors have to pierce their pelvis to allow the baby's head to come out easily, a process called episiotomy in the vernacular language. If the baby's head is very big, then there are chances of a bled vessel rupture in his brain while coming out, which is not good for the baby and the mother. So what is this Episiotomy and why do it? Episiotomy If Episiotomy is not done at the time of delivery, then the second stage of labor means the time till the baby comes out of the uterus becomes longer. When it is time for the baby's head to come out, then the vaginal tract bursts, then sometimes there is also a possibility of injury to the sac, due to which the mother may have to face problems in the future. If delivery is done without Episiotomy, there is pressure on the pelvic muscles, the chances of prolapse also increase, this can also cause problems in the future in working of the sprinkter of the anus. If we do not do Episiotomy and the pelvic muscles are torn, then there is a lot of difficulty in its healing, it has also been seen many times that the vaginal tract becomes very large. During pregnancy, local anesthesia is given prior to piercing, a process called crowning when the baby's head is trying to come out. After this, we make a hole according to the size of the baby's head, which is 2 to 3 cm. When the baby is delivered, then after that the doctors seal this hole properly, in which the stitches which are used, it melts automatically. Care to take after Episiotomy? (care of episiotomy) After getting stitches, doctors advise the mother to eat mostly fibrous things in her diet, to drink good water so that she does not complain of cobs because if there is cobs then pressure can come on those stitches. Along with this, women have to take care that the stitches where they are given should be kept clean, from time to time wash that place with soap water so that there is no infection in those stitches. Doctors also advise to soak those stiches with hot water once or twice a day, which improves blood flow to that area and helps the stetch to heal. We have to keep all these things in mind and take care of ourselves. For more details watch full video. If you have any question then ask in comments.
