Viper venom смотреть последние обновления за сегодня на .
We don’t think of venomous snakes as having many health benefits for humans. But researchers in Brazil think that the venom of a pit viper may be able to help fight the coronavirus. They’ve found that a molecule in the venom of a South American pit viper the jararacussu inhibited production of the coronavirus in monkey cells. It can do so without harming other cells. Their findings were published in the journal “Molecules.”
We met with a guy who's been injecting himself with snake venom for 20 years and he looks better than ever. Check out Steve's Comment Response video here! 🤍 The hemotoxins which attack human blood cells in a tree viper's venom can result in an agonising death in less than 30 minutes. The neurotoxins in a cobra bite can kill a person in half that time. for the past 20 years Steve Ludwin has been sticking all this lovely deadly snake juice in a syringe and mainlining it all the way to immortality. Privately milking an array of deadly snakes including rattlesnakes, monocled cobras, and a few casual vipers thrown in to the mix, Steve has been injecting what would for any normal human be fatal amounts venom into his body since the late 80s. The basic principle - laid out by pioneer herpetologist, Bill Haast, who died last year at the age of 100 - is that regular exposure to the venom results in the body developing an immunity. Steve claims to not only never get ill, but that cobra venom is the ultimate pick me up, with effects lasting a days after injecting, making Steve stronger, faster and more resilient. Finally it looks like mainstream scientific research might be catching up. Brazilian researchers have found that snake venom could be used as a tool in the fight against coronavirus. Brazilian researchers have found that a molecule in the venom of a type of snake slowed down the reproduction of coronavirus in monkey cells. The study showed a molecule produced by the Jararacussu pit viper, one of the largest snakes in Brazil, reduced the disease's ability to multiply by 75%. The Viper's venom has enough potency to kill 16 people, but the dangerous snake could potentially help scientists develop a drug to combat Coronavirus Please subscribe HERE 🤍 #BBCNews #Coronavirus #Snake
Analytical performance of new formulation DVVtest/DVVconfirm (BioMedica Diagnostics) performed with HORIBA Medical Yumizen G800 analyzer, compared with a currently available dRVVT assay performed on a STAR Max analyzer (Stago). ◆Download at: 🤍 This is a short presentation of a scientific poster presented at the ISTH 2021 virtual congress, by Dr. Laurie Talon, CHU Clermont-Ferrand, France. Dilute Russell’s viper venom time (dRVVT) is one of the recommended assays for lupus anticoagulant (LA) detection. Steve Ludwin has been voluntarily injecting snake venom for 30 years. This began as a quest for personal immunity, the fountain of youth and the acquiring of serpent powers but became considerably more profound when a laboratory in Copenhagen discovered his masochism. Now, his blood is in trials to be potentially used as a worldwide antivenom which could save thousands of lives. In the run up to the release of VICE's new three-part series Snake and Man, Steve breaks down why he started injecting venom, why he looks 20 years younger and how he may have accidentally become an antivenom messiah.
