► In this video, Joel Tadman tests out the Edel SMS iron, which is one of very few irons in existence that feature adjustable weights. Edel claims that positioning the weights in the correct position for your swing and strike, golfers should experience improved distance and accuracy but we wanted to put this theory to the test. So Joel takes the irons onto a par three at Burghley Park Golf Club with his Full Swing Kit launch monitor and moved the weights around to see what effect it really had. ► Become a FREE SUBSCRIBER to Golf Monthly's YouTube page now - 🤍🤍youtube.com/golfmonthly ► For the latest reviews, new gear launches and tour news, visit our website here - 🤍🤍golfmonthly.com ► Like us on Facebook here - 🤍🤍facebook.com/GolfMonthlyMagazine ► Follow us on Twitter here - 🤍twitter.com/GolfMonthly ► Feel free to comment below! ► Remember to hit that LIKE button if you enjoyed it :)

The Golfworks offers several iron club heads with changeable weights. One of them, the KE4, has heel and toe weights which can be changed to alter feel, swing weight, and flight. You can buy the heads, shafts, and grips and assemble them yourself or they will assemble them for you. Excellent quality components.
Might be good for some but I would go a different route involving lower price and a good fitting. I don’t remember hearing about shaft options either.
I thought PXG’s were ugly…
Whole new level!
Don't think the leading companies have anything to worry about
I do see the merits in movable/sliding weights as a tweak, however adjustable hosel adapters and shafts is more beneficial to blend with hybrids/rescues..
How the hell can you call 3 shots with each setting an exhaustive test? That’s doesn’t give readers of Golf Monthly much confidence in your findings!
EEDEL lol
If it works for drivers I don't see why it wouldn't work for irons although to a lesser extent.
Future irons 🫣
- expensive
- ugly
- huge clubhead
Maybe good for some players but for many, it’s just something else to tinker with and or blame. Great quality premium clubs but I think you would benefit more from a really good club fitting with an iron that suits your game.
Such an ugly iron, looks like a concept club from the 90s. Pure gimic
