Just started my salttwater aquarium. Live rock and put our first fish in a couple of days ago. A pair of clowns. Leaving it six weeks then, thinking of adding a Blenny or shrimp.
Gobies are useless. Suicidal and die
No royal gramma, shame
Question my tank is almost cycled.... ammonia is 0 but nitrite is still purple and little high .....but if I dose ammonia it is gone in 24 hours so is it cycled???? Can I get fish
Could you maybe do “best tankmates for seahorses” next please? It would really help me out :)
how big is your tank behind you in the intro? so beautiful too!
Great list, hard to understand some key points through the awesome Aussie accent though
What were those soft pink fish?
In german literature clown fish are not recommended below 200 liters. Sometimes even 250 liters. Wondering what you think about that and why you think clowns are fine in smaller tanks. Thanks :)
My tailspot blenny is my favorite fish. Hes such a character.
Pistol shrimp are peaceful?? Not mine 😂, he spends all day and all night pulling any unsecured coral frag, shell, equipment, and even slower snails or crabs into his den! and once they go they don’t come back 😬
It looks like most of these require a decent sand bed. I have a 37 gallon bare bottom tank that is quite deep, about 36” deep by 22” x 22” and I’m keeping some sps in there. What would you recommend for bare bottom tanks?
Thanks 😊 🐠
I also have 33 gallons of water in a sump with refugium too to it contains 70 gallons of water in total.
From what I’ve heard is neon and clown gobies can live in 5 gallons
Would I be able to keep a clownfish in a 13 gallon tank?
Awesome vid btw
I’m getting me a clown fish!
Hi everyone who is reading this. I'm a beginner reefer and have 1 question.
When ever people say min size of 30 gallons, 20 gallons etc... Does it refer to swimming volume or total volume? For eg I have a Red sea reefer nano, 21Gal display 7 Gal Sump. So am I limited only to a 21 Gal fish or I can stretch to 28 Gal?
Your videos are great. Very informative and enjoyable. I’ve got a cool 20 gal cube that’s been up and running a few weeks...first salt water tank I’ve done and all is well so far! Thanks for taking the time to post everything and great job making things so succinct yet engaging!
Ps - I’ll proably need to upgrade to a 50 gal within a year or two...my diamond goby is gonna need it. And I absolutely must have a Midas blenny sooner than later. 😀
How long do blennies generally live for? Have you noticed a difference in lifespans between different species and genuses?
Can someone tell me please what's the lobster at minute UmvFCLYTxyE&t=1m39s 1:39 ?
